Islamabad, June 18, 2014 (PPI-OT): Islamabad police have arrested six outlaws involved in different criminal cases and recovered three vehicles, mobile phone, 03kg hashish, wine and weapons, from their possession, a police spokesman said on Wednesday.
According to details, Sihala police recovered 03 kilogram hashish from an accused Khalid Mehmood during patrolling. Margalla police recovered 12 bottles of wine during patrolling from two culprits identified as Muhammad Riaz and Shafqat, while police also recovered three vehicles bearing Registration numbers LES-3030, LED-9040 and LXO-2721 which were found tempered after checking from laboratory.
Tarnol police recovered two mobile phones from a thief namely Abdul Khaliq, while Ramna police arrested an accused Hassan Khan and recovered one 30bore pistol with eight bullets from his possession.
Sabzi Mandi police recovered one 44bore rifle with ammunition on the disclosure of an arrested extortionist Qari Muhammad Shafique. Cases have been registered against above mentioned accused and further investigation is underway.
During general holdup, Islamabad police impounded 61 motorbikes, eight vehicles for being driven without any documents while black papers were removed from two tinted glass vehicles. While during search operation 10 suspects were arrested who cannot show their identity.
SSP Islamabad Muhammad Ali Nekokara has appreciated this performance of police officials and further directed all SDPOs and SHOs to ensure effective policing.
