Karachi, June 04, 2014 (PPI-OT): The Southern Regional Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) is organizing a post budget seminar to discuss and deliberate on the possible consequences of the Federal Budget 2014-15. The seminar will be held on Friday 6 June 2014 at local hotel, Karachi.
Dr. Miftah Ismail, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister and Chairman Board of Investment will be the Chief Guest while Mr. Shahid Hussain Asad, Member, Inland Revenue – Policy of Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) will be the Session Chairman. The key note speaker will be Mr. Saqib Masood, Member – ICAP Taxation Committee and Partner – Head of Tax, KPMG Taseer Hadi and Co.
A panel discussion will also be held wherein Syed Masoud Ali Naqvi, Senior Partner KPMG Taseer Hadi and Co., Mr. Muhammad Abdullah Yusuf, Chairman IPP Advisory Council and Former Chairman FBR, S.M. Shabbar Zaidi, Partner A.F. Ferguson and Co. and Mr. Muhammad Zubair Motiwala, Former President Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry will be the panelists while renowned
The seminar is expected to be attended by finance and tax professionals, trade and industry representatives, government officials and representatives of print and electronic media.
