Islamabad: Islamabad Police have arrested thirteen outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered 6.250 kilogram hashish, 15 wine bottles, four pistols, mobile phones and looted items from their possession, a police spokesman said here Tuesday.
Sub-Inspector Abdul Ghafoor from Shehzad town police station nabbed two thieves Arshad and Imran and recovered stolen televisions and mobile phones from their possession. An accused Imran alias Manga was arrested in possession of 22 bore pistol while an accused Bawar Khan was arrested for having 30 bore pistol.
On a tip off, Sub-Inspector Bashir Ahmed from CIA police nabbed a motorcyclist Ajmal Khan for having two kilogram hashish. Inspector Ghulam Rasool and Sub-Inspector Nusrat Ali from Golra police apprehended two drug pushers Peda Gul and Saeed for having 3.5 kilogram hashish.
Sub-Inspectors Ghulam Mustafa and Muhammad Ajmal from Tarnol police arrested Yasir Arafat for having 30 bore pistol and 50 rounds while a lady Sheereen Zargai and Abid Khan were arrested in possession of 30 bore pistol each.
ASI Habib Ullah from Aabpara police arrested an accused Shehbaz for having 15 wine bottles while Sub-Inspector Iftikhar Ahmed from Kohsar police arrested Waheed Masih in possession of 250 gram hashish.
Sub-Inspector Muhammad Nazeer from Sihala police apprehended Azam Khan for having 500 gram hashish. Cases have been registered against the nabbed persons under the relevant sections and further investigation is underway.
SSP Islamabad Tahir Alam Khan has appreciated the performance of the police officials who arrested these culprits and directed all police officials to intensify efforts against the anti-social elements.
