Islamabad: Islamabad Police on Monday nabbed 15 outlaws in its special crackdown in the various parts of the city and recovered eight wine bottles, drug and looted items from their possession, a police spokesman said.
Sub-Inspector Arshad Ali from Shehzad town police station arrested two thieves Talib Hussain and Liaqat and recovered stolen items worth Rs. 150,000 from them. Three thieves Umer Azad, Sajid and Ayesha were nabbed by ASI Najeeb Ullah from Shalimar police station and stolen items wroth Rs. 2,00,000 were recovered from them.
ASI Mumtaz from Shalimar police apprehended Mobeen Ahmed and Aamir Shehzad for having 30 bore pistol and dagger from their possession while Sub-Inspector Qaisar Niaz from Kohsar police arrested Yasir Masih for having 108 gram heroin.
Sub-Inspector Muhammad Akram from Koral police nabbed Akram for having 8 wine bottles while three beggars Riaz, Sultan and Ishaq were nabbed by Sabzi Mandi police.
Shalimar police also conducted search operation in various areas and arrested five suspects. SSP Islamabad Tahir Alam Khan has appreciated this performance and directed all police officials to intensify patrolling and vigilance in their respective areas to curb activities of anti-social elements.
