Altaf Hussain charged in UK for encouraging terrorism

A case has been registered against MQM founder Altaf Hussain in London under Terrorism Act.

The case has been registered against him under setion 2(1) of Terrorism Act, 2006 for an inciting speech in August 2016.

It may be mentioned here Pakistan government had sent a reference to British government in September 2016 asking it to take action against Altaf Hussain. It has also submitted documentary evidence of his fiery speech inciting people to violent activities.
