Srinagar, March 02, 2016 (PPI-OT):In occupied Kashmir, the forum of 24 pro-freedom organizations, All Parties Hurriyet Conference led by Syed Ali Gilani has urged the International Committee of Red Cross to take the issue of repeated invoking of black law, Public Safety Act against youth in the territory with Indian government.
The APHC in a statement issued in Srinagar today said that the Indian authorities had made it a habit to prolong the illegal detention of Hurriyet leaders and activists through such a tactic. The Hurriyet denounced the slapping of the draconian law for the eighth time against a 23-year-old youth, Zubair Ahmad Turray, terming it as the worst form of lawlessness. The APHC appealed to the world human rights organizations to take cognizance of the matter.
