At least 19 dead as rain, storm devastation ravages KP

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the death toll has risen to nineteen while dozens others were injured due to wind storm and heavy rains in Lakki Marwat, Karak and Bannu districts on Saturday evening.

According to Director General Rescue 1122, rescue operation is underway and injured are being shifted to hospitals.

Meanwhile, in a statement, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Haji Ghulam Ali has directed the Red crescent officials to send relief teams for rain and wind storm affected districts of the province.

On the other hand, Provincial Disaster Management Authority Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has released forty million rupees for the victims of rain and wind storm of district Bannu.
