Balochistan government is taking steps for strengthening the eleven District Headquarters Hospitals of the province under a phase wise project.
The official sources of the Provincial Health Department told Radio Pakistan Quetta correspondent that the government has allocated fifty million rupees for each hospital and later these hospitals will be declared as Teaching Hospitals.
The sources further said that thirty-bed isolation and High Dependency Unit equipped with ventilators and other necessary facilities have been established for COVID-19 patients at Bolan Medical Complex Hospital in Quetta.
