Srinagar, February 12, 2014 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) leader and the Chairman of Kashmir Freedom Front (KFF), Syed Bashir Andrabi, has strongly condemned the arrest of Hurriyet leaders and activists in the territory and demanded their immediate release.
Syed Bashir Andrabi in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the illegal arrest and harassment of Hurriyet leaders and activists could not weaken their freedom sentiment and the liberation movement would be taken to its logical conclusion at all costs.
He said that during the last three days the people of the territory had shown strong resolve to the mission of martyrs by observing complete shutdown on the martyrdom anniversaries of Kashmiri leaders, Muhammad Maqbool Butt and Muhammad Afzal Guru. He said that best way to pay tributes to the Kashmiri martyrs was to continue their mission till its accomplishment.
He thanked the people of Kashmir for making successful APHC programmes on anniversaries of Muhammad Maqbool Butt and Muhammad Afzal Guru.
