Islamabad: The development work in the dream housing scheme of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) located at Park Road, Islamabad – The Park Enclave would be completed in a record period of one year. The scheme is the first of its kind in Pakistan, where 60 % of the area is meant for the environment friendly facilities to make it the jewel of Islamabad in a rare sense.
This was stated by the Chairman CDA, Imtiaz Inayat Elahi during his visit to the Park Enclave to view the progress on the development works here today. He was accompanied by Member Finance, Saeed-ur-Rehman, Member (Planning and Design), Tahir Shamshad, Member Engineering, Syed Ibrar Hussain Shah, Member Estate, Khalid Mirza and other senior officers of the Authority.
The Chairman CDA said that CDA has facilitated the applicants intending to have a dream house in the first of its kind gated community by easing the payment schedule and now they can have their plots booked with a down payment of Rs.12 lac and can pay the remaining amount in easy instalments of 16 months. He said that the Park Enclave is ideally located just opposite the Chak Shahzad agro farms with a distance of only 04 Kilometers from Islamabad Club having easy access from all the major roads of the Federal Capital.
The Chairman said that CDA has started work on construction of two boulevards of 150 feet width from the Park Road, which would also served as the main entrance of the scheme and another from the Kuri Raod just 200 meters of the Chak Shahzad agro farms. He said that the Park Enclave is an exclusive living and a gated community with bio and face recognition access at the central gate. The minimum width of the streets in the scheme would be 60 feet with under-ground electricity and sui-gas system, round the clock portable water supply. The Chairman CDA said that the scheme would be having efficient drainage and sewerage system, solid waste management, energy waste treatment plant, rain water harvesting, lakes and water bodies with open air restaurants, sports facilities, club house equipped with all allied facilities and zero initial houses.
The Chairman said that the Park Enclave is a unique gift from the CDA as the facilities being offered in this scheme are available in Gulf States and other foreign counties but nowhere in Pakistan as yet. He said that CDA has set up a site office at main Park Road to facilitate the public as a huge number of potential applicants of Park Enclave are visiting the scheme. He said that CDA has designated chains of banks having their branches across the globe, which include Muslim Commercial Bank, Askari Bank, Habib Bank and the Bank Al-Falah.
He said that the brochures of the scheme are available at the designated branches of these banks throughout the country as well as abroad. To facilitate the overseas Pakistanis the facility to down-load the application form from the CDA website has been provided. He said that after the deadline of 30th July 2011, the balloting of these plots would be carried out in a systematic and transparent manner. The successful allottees would be given the possession of their respective plots within a period of one year.
