Islamabad, November 16, 2012 (PPI-OT): Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) Chairman, Syed Asif Hashmi called on Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf at the PM’s House today and apprised him about the arrangements made for the Sikh Yatrees to celebrate Baba Guru Nanak’s birth anniversary on November 25.
He said that more than 3000 Sikh Yatrees are expected to reach Pakistan through Wahga Border on November 25. In this connection Pakistan Railways has made arrangement to run Special trains for them on the occasion. He informed that special security arrangements have been arranged for these trains.
The Chairman ETPB further informed the Prime Minister that Jore Mela was also attended by a large no of Sikh Yatrees and they were satisfied with the arrangements made by the government of Pakistan.
The Prime Minister directed the Chairman ETPB to maximize efforts and provide all possible facilities to the Sikh Yatrees.
