Karachi: The Chief Minister of Sindh, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, and Interior Minister, Rehman Malik, on Monday called on Sindh Governor Dr. Ishrat Ul Ebad Khan. At the meeting held at the Governor House here, the prevailing situation was discussed in detail. During the meeting it was reiterated that steps would be taken in coordination with the coalition parties for the maintenance of law and order.
Action against miscreants would be further intensified. The statement said that it was also agreed that the law enforcement agencies would take strict action against the miscreants.
The action against the target killing and ‘Bhatta’ mafia in the city would be made further effective. The removal of the party flags and the wall chalking was appreciated.
The officials of the City Government were asked to keep a vigilant eye on those elements who resort to chalking and thus mar the beauty of the city.
