Karachi, November 21, 2014 (PPI-OT): The Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah has invited Japan to play its leading role in investment in Pakistan particularly in Sindh, for which all infrastructure, administrative facilities and incentive would be provided its investors. He said that Sindh Government has already allocated 2000 acres of land for Japan Industrial Zone in Karachi, which has great investment potential in the region.
This he observed while holding meeting with the Ambassador of Japan H.E. Mr. Hiroshi INOMATA, who called on him along with Mr. Shunichi Amada 1st Secretary of Embassy at CM House today. Talking on the occasion, he Chief Minister Sindh said that Karachi now is witnessing peaceful atmosphere and having great potential of investment, because of sea and its strategic position.
He said that under the targeted operation launched by his government against the terrorists, target killers, extortionists, many criminals have been eliminated and now the situation in Karachi even in whole Sindh was peaceful. He said that besides Karachi, interior Sindh has also great potential of investment in different sectors.
He said that the many individuals and organizations belonging to the other countries are investing, trading and working here and added that Japan must have to play as leading role in investment here. He said that Japan was a very close and reliable friend of Pakistan and always has supported Pakistan in its political and economical point of view. He said that we have great respect for Japan and we to provide all facilities to its investors here in Sindh.
