CM Punjab directs line depts. to remain alert to deal with possible monsoon floods

Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has directed all the departments concerned to remain alert round-the-clock to deal with possible monsoon flooding in the province.

Chairing a meeting in Lahore today (Saturday), the Chief Minister directed to construct underground water tanks in major cities of the province including Faisalabad to store rainwater. He asked the commissioners to devise a plan in consultation with WASA in this regard.

Sardar Usman Buzdar said that the provincial government has decided to provide every possible resources to the administration to deal with any situation caused by possible floods.
