Crackdown against drug paddlers continues


The relevant government institutions in coordination with Pakistan Army have been continuing crackdown against drug paddlers and to rid the country from the menace of drugs.

These institutions during anti-narcotics operations in the last week previous month seized over one million kilograms drugs in the entire country and apprehended more than thirteen hundred drug paddlers.

The relevant government institutions are committed to continue anti-narcotics operations in order to clean the country from drugs.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Coast Guards, during its operations in coastal belt of Gwadar district last week confiscated drugs, oil and daily used items having worth of billions of rupees.

According to the details, the Pakistan Coast Guards, acting on a tip about the smuggling of drugs and other goods through sea route, seized the shipment containing these items.

The daily used items confiscated by the Coast Guards include cigarettes, ice, cloth, dairy products, cooking oil, juices, Chinese salt, perfumes, elect
rical appliances, solar inverters, medicine, spare part, petrol and diesel.
