Former Australian state team cricketer Darren Berry has rejected the role of the Pakistan fielding coach which was offered to him by the Pakistan Cricket Board.
The wicket-keeper and batsman, who is currently working with the Pakistan Super League franchise Islamabad United, believes that it is too soon for him to take the full-time International job.
He said that he is extremely thankful for the opportunity presented by Mickey Arthur and the PCB.
He said that he will continue to work with Islamabad United in the PSL and will keep an open mind in relation to international coaching opportunities in the future.
