Renowned Poet Dr Ambareen Haseeb Amber says Radio Pakistan has played pivotal role for the promotion of literature in the country during last 75 years.
In an exclusive interview with our Radio Pakistan Cultural Correspondent Sajjad Parvez, she said that many famous literary personalities started their career from Radio Pakistan as participants of its literary programs.
While appreciating the launching of video podcast service by Radio Pakistan, she termed it as revolutionary step keeping in view the modern trends in the field of broadcasting and telecasting.
Responding to a question, Dr Ambareen Haseeb Amber said that holding of literary and cultural festivals across the country is helpful to provide a platform to youth where they can meet living legends from different fields of arts, culture and literature.
