FM Bilawal, Saudi counterpart vow to further deepen bilateral ties

Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have reiterated their resolve to further deepen bilateral cooperation in all areas.

The understanding was reached during a meeting between Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and his Saudi counterpart Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos.

Both foreign ministers reaffirmed the historic and deep-rooted fraternal ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

During the meeting, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari expressed gratitude to Saudi Arabia for its long-standing support to Pakistan.

Sharing pictures of the meeting on his twitter handle, the Foreign Minister said he was delighted to meet his Saudi counterpart.

On the sidelines of the World Economic Forum, the Foreign Minister also held a meeting with his Finish counterpart Pekka Haavisto and discussed bilateral, regional and global issues of mutual interest.

The Foreign Minister appreciated Finland for its support at Resilient Pakistan Conference in Geneva.

Both sides resolved to further enhance bilateral relations, particularly in trade, energy and education sector.
