Islamabad: Dear Colleagues,

PSEB is announcing a program to promote Pakistani content development companies at GDC (Game Developers Conference) and Expo in San Francisco; CA. PSEB will be sponsoring a delegation of Pakistani companies to this largest conference of its kind in the world. Each selected company will be provided with one lowest economy airfare to the event in addition to partial subsidy for participation fees.

In return for PSEB’s substantial investment, PSEB expects that the companies would attempt to attain maximum benefit from the event by bringing business/foreign investment to Pakistan and project Pakistan’s IT sector as a viable, cost effective, high quality destination for developing Gaming Products. PSEB is specially looking to sponsor companies that can clearly demonstrate their commitment to the delegation and promote a collective image building of this industry segment.

The Game Developers Conference/Expo (GDC) is the world’s largest professional’s only game industry event and has been held consistently every year for 24 years. The Game Developers Conference has come a long way in size and stature, emanating from an informal gathering of about 25 developers in the living room of a notable game designer 24 years ago, to a weeklong conference attended by over 18,000 well established industry insiders.

The event addresses multiple platforms, such as dedicated gaming consoles, handheld devices, cell phones, online and of course computers. The GDC provides an excellent opportunity to interact with well-established industry veterans and network with prospective customers and companies.

The end goal is to provide the local gaming industry the necessary support in order to facilitate the industry to bring employment generation and foreign exchange earnings to Pakistan.

Interested member companies are hereby invited to submit their Expression of Interest (EOI) along with the following:
