Gilani terms Pro-India politicians’ statements as theatrics

Srinagar, November 11, 2014 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the veteran Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani has termed as theatrics the statements of pro-India politicians during the ongoing campaign for so-called assembly elections, cautioning people not to fall prey to their deceitful politics.
Syed Ali Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar said, “During current election campaign they portray themselves as people’s well-wishers and issue statements about Kashmir issue and human rights violations only to garner votes.”

“In fact they are insincere and are shedding crocodile tears. People should not get swayed by these statements. They are actually stooges of New Delhi and hand in glove with the killers,” he added. They are responsible for bringing Kashmir under Indian occupation,” Gilani said, reiterating his appeal for boycott of upcoming so-called lections.

“The local pro-India politicians even arrested Hurriyet leaders and activists, who were engaged in relief and rehabilitation work for the flood-hit people,” he deplored.
