Ebad said the setting up of an international standard project like the Arfa Karim IT City had the potential to get the country to the international information technology map. The phase-I of the project comprises the acquisition of 200 acres in the Education City, ensuring the land is free from encroachment by building a concrete wall around it and a comprehensive master plan.
Provincial Information Technology Minister for Raza Haroon highlighted the benefits of the two projects on the occasion. The ceremony was attended by police officials, IT department officials, experts and businessmen.
