Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan says the government is committed to take revolutionary steps for improvement of local body system across the province.
Chairing a meeting in Peshawar on Sunday, he said government has finalized the draft of new local government system which will be presented in cabinet for formal approval.
The Chief Minister directed the concerned authorities to complete all the formalities in this regard.
Meanwhile, in a statement in Peshawar today, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan said a new era of development and prosperity will usher by removing the sense of deprivation of tribal people.
He said government has chalked out the development of ten years comprehensive plan for newly merged tribal districts.
He said efforts are underway to bring tribal districts at par with the developed areas of the province.
Mahmood Khan said special enrolment campaign will also be launched in erstwhile FATA to enroll maximum number of tribal children in schools.
