Leading personalities of the business community of Karachi and a delegation of traders called on Prime Minister Imran Khan in Karachi on Friday.
During the meeting, views were exchanged on matters pertaining to the business community.
Prime Minister Imran khan said the business community is an important pillar in the country's economic development.
The Prime Minister said the government also wants to make the private sector a partner in development projects so the process of development and public welfare works together.
He said the government is focusing on creating ease of doing business and in this regard, Pakistan has climbed 28th points in the world.
He said International institutions including Moody's have described Pakistan's economic situation as stable.
The delegation expressed full confidence in tax reform and other government policies.
