Chief Executive Balochistan Board of Investment and Trade Farman Zarkoon has said that there is a huge potential for investment in the energy sector in Balochistan.
In a statement, he said that profitable investments can be made in energy parks projects, solar energy, wind power generation in coastal areas and small hydropower projects.
Farman added that the government has provided a number of incentives for investment in the energy sector, including tax, import duty exemptions, one-window operation for speedy process and security.
He said that various projects of electricity generation are underway while a 500-megawatt project has been signed with the Saudi government.
