In India, Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind has demanded of Uttar Pradesh government to stop “unilateral action” being taken against Muslims.
Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind President Maulana Mahmood Asad Madani says communal violence that broke out in Ibrahimpur area in Sultanpur district of the state on 10th of this month but now the action is only being taken against Muslims.
The violence broke out after Hindus attacked Muslims when they asked to lower the music at the time of Namaz.
In the incident, the mosque was also damaged whereas shops of Muslims and a madrassa in Ibrahimpur were also vandalized.
