Srinagar, November 09, 2014 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, APHC leaders Mukhtar Ahmad Waza and Javed Ahmad Mir while expressing sympathies with the families of two civilians, who were crushed by CRPF vehicle in Srinagar, the other day, have said that Indian armed forces are killing Kashmiris in staged traffic accidents under a panned conspiracy.
The Jammu Kashmir Peoples League Chairman, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, who is under house detention for the last 12 days, in a statement expressed serious concern over the rising road accidents involved Indian army.
“Indian armed forces have unleashed a reign of terror on Kashmir roads by rash driving and state machinery has failed to control the army drivers who continue to violate traffic rules resulting shocking accidents,” he deplored.
“Since they know killing Kashmiris by bullets exposes them at international level now they have unveiled new idea of killing Kashmiris in road accident by their vehicles.
Waza blamed militarization of Kashmir for the rising traffic accidents in the territory.
Meanwhile, a Hurriyet team comprising Javed Ahmad Mir, Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi, Jaffer Kashmiri and Tahoor Ahmad visited the families of both the victims, who were crushed to death by an army vehicle in Srinagar yesterday and expressed sympathy with the bereaved families.
APHC leader Javed Ahmad Mir on the occasion said that Indian troops were killing Kashmiris to crush the ongoing peaceful freedom struggle. He said that by killing Kashmiris through spurious drugs or by their vehicles, Indian armed forces had the single agenda of crushing freedom struggle.
