Islamabad, November 08, 2012 (PPI-OT): Intel Pakistan today concluded the Sindh Provincial Science Fair in the run-up to the Intel® International Science and Engineering Fair (Intel® ISEF), one of the world’s largest pre-college science competitions, to be held in Phoenix, Arizona in May 2013.
During the Sindh Science Fair, students from across the province presented research-based projects in the categories of Biology, Chemistry, Computer Sciences, Mathematics and Physics. More than 90 projects from all over Sindh competed in the fair. Present at the occasion was Cdre (Retd.) Talib Hussain, TI (M), Education Director, Defence Housing Authority, as the Chief Guest.
Winners of the Sindh Provincial Science Fair will be eligible to compete at the National Science Fair, which will take place in Islamabad early next year. Projects will be assessed by a panel of renowned judges, with winners eligible to compete at the 2013 Intel® ISEF which will be held from May 12th to May 17th in Phoenix, Arizona.
