Islamabad police trace 30 blind murder cases in current year

Islamabad: Islamabad Police traced a total of 30 blind murder cases during the current year, collected vital evidences against the culprits and submitted the challans of these cases into concerned courts.

Inspector General of Police Bani Amin Khan assigned special task to all police stations of Islamabad police to resolve murder cases and provide relief to the families of victims. He in his directions said
that there is no alternate to life, however, it is the responsibility of police to trace the killers of innocent people and provide justice to the bereaved families.

He directed to give priority to investigation of murder cases and book the culprits. Following these directions, Islamabad police stations including CIA police worked hard to trace the blind murder cases and succeeded to trace 30 murders after collecting forensic as well as other vital evidences.

Every available resources and latest investigation techniques were used to resolve these cases. Due to these efforts, Golra and Shehzad town police station traced three and four murder cases respectively.
Similarly, Secretariat and Industrial area police traced one and four murder cases respectively while Aabpara police traced three and Margallah police traced out two murder cases.

Sihala and Koral police stations traced two murder cases each while Tarnol, Kohsar and Shalimar police stations traced five, one murder case respectively. Similarly, Sabzi Manid, Bhara Kau police traced
one and two murder cases respectively while challans of these cases were submitted into court after arresting the culprits and collection of evidences against them.

IGP Islamabad Bani Amin Khan has appreciated this performance and announced to award cash prizes and commendation certificates to those police officials who successfully investigated into these murder cases and arrested the culprits.

SSP Islamabad Muhammad Yousuf Malik has also directed all SDPOs and SHOs to further enhance their professional capabilities for combating crimes and ensure the protection of life and property of citizens.
