Srinagar, November 09, 2014 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Islamic Political Party ridiculing India’s claim of being the largest democracy in the world has said that New Delhi is doing everything undemocratic in the territory under its occupation.
JK IPP General Secretary, Mohammad Yousuf Mir, in a statement issued in Srinagar said, every peaceful voice of dissent is crushed by Indian occupation forces.
“Right to peaceful assembly and freedom of expression is deemed crime, and punished here. Leaders and activists of dissent are jailed and detained for this peaceful democratic voice,” he added.
However, he said that India would not succeed in suppressing the ongoing peaceful struggle for inalienable right to self-determination through brute use of force.
