Srinagar, March 01, 2016 (PPI-OT):In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir National Front (JKNF) strongly denouncing the continued house arrest of its Chairman, Nayeem Ahmad Khan, has demanded his immediate release. The JKNF spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said, “There is no rule of law prevailing in the disputed region that is why genuine political leadership is being detained on the will and wish of police officials.” He said that the continued house arrest of Nayeem Ahmad Khan was unwarranted, unrealistic and undemocratic.
The spokesman expressed serious concern over the latest arrest spree at the hands of Indian police in every nook and corner of the occupied territory. “Arresting Kashmiri youth is an Indian plan adopted from Tel Aviv so that the lives of our future generation are plunged into darkness,” he said. However, he added that the Kashmiris were aware of the evil designs of India and they would not allow New Delhi to fulfill its plans.
