Srinagar, March 04, 2016 (PPI-OT):In occupied Kashmir, All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) leaders, Muhammad Yousuf Naqash, Hakeem Abdul Rasheed and Bilal Siddiqui have said that settlement of the Kashmir dispute is imperative for peace and stability in the South Asian region.
The APHC leaders addressing a public gathering in Noorbagh area of Srinagar, today, said that India was resorting to brutal tactics to suppress economic, political and basic human rights of the Kashmiris. They appealed to the world community to play its role in resolving the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the Kashmiris’ aspirations.
The leaders said that in past seven decades Kashmir had been kept under virtual military siege and through fanatic organizations like RSS, the people of Kashmir and their movement was being suppressed. They asked the people to continue their struggle for securing their right to self-determination with determination. They also condemned the arrest of youth by Indian police across the occupied territory.
