Karachi, November 25, 2014 (PPI-OT): The spokesperson of Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali has said that the three former chief ministers in their political gathering have criticized the performance of PPP government without any tangible reason.
The spokesman said that the former chief ministers while criticizing law and order situation in Sindh, they forgot their respective tenures in which law and order situation all over the province was critical.
The spokesperson said that during the tenure of Liaquat Ali Jatoi as a chief minister not only common man was safe and secure but PPP MPA was also kidnapped. Apart from it, a renowned philanthropist and former Governor Sindh Hakeem Mohammad Saeed was killed. If the performance of his government is seen it was full of mismanagement, corruption and inefficiency. Therefore, his prime minister had removed his government.
The spokesman surprised to read the statement of Mr Liaquat Jatoi that 7,500 schools in Dadu alone were unfunctional. As a matter of fact, there are total 2,221 schools in Dadu, of which 71 were closed and the PPP government has functionalized 38. It means only 33 are closed presently.
The spokesperson further said that during the tenure of Arbab Rahim as a Sindh chief minister judges were kidnapped from the area between Shikarpur and Larkana. They were freed after the payment of huge ransom. The law and order situation during Arbab Rahim’s tenure was pathetic. He was also involved in political victimization of his opponents.
There are lots of other things to disclose against Arbab. He even did not spare people of Thar. He arrested legendary Jam Saqi and registered a case of possessing explosive material. This was the character and now he is criticizing PPP.
Talking about Syed Ghous Ali Shah the spokesman said that during his tenure Sukkur jail was broken and notorious dacoits had run away. Sohrab Goth and Qasba Colony were the worst incident of his tenure. The Bushra Zaidi incident had also sparked ethnic violence in Karachi.
The PPP government has launched targeted operation in Karachi and has restored peace in city considerably. We are not saying that everything is good during PPP tenure but the government is serving people sincerely.
