Srinagar, November 06, 2014 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, Chief Patron of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front-R (JKLF-R), Barrister Abdul Majeed Tramboo, while expressing deep anguish over the Chattergam Killings, said that killing innocent people was the grave violation of the basic human rights. Barrister Abdul Majeed Tramboo in a statement issued in Srinagar said the fact has been once again proven that the draconian laws, which are giving a free hand to the Indian troops to kill anybody they want and such incidents will continue to happen until the laws are not repealed.
He said that India would never succeed in suppressing the liberation struggle. He also impressed upon the world community to take strong notice of the grave human rights violations happening in Kashmir and put pressure on India to repeal all such draconian laws in the territory.
Tramboo, while condemning the arrest of Hurriyet leaders included Shabbir Ahmad Shah, Nayeem Ahmad Khan, Muhammad Yousuf Naqash and many others who have been arrested or the police is in their search, said that such tactics would not deter the Hurriyet leaders from struggling for securing the Kashmiris’ right to self-determination.
