The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has devised a comprehensive strategy for controlling price hike during the holy month of Ramazan.
This was informed by Provincial Food Minister, Mian Khaleeq-Ur-Rehman while responding to a question during Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, which met in Peshawar on Friday.
He said the government is releasing four-thousand tons of wheat on daily basis to ensure its smooth supply during the month of Ramzan. He added that the rate of ten-kilogram bag of wheat has been fixed to four-hundred and thirty rupees.
The Provincial Minister told the House that district administration is also counselling the traders and shopkeepers to maintain prices of daily used commodities.
He said offices of all the provincial government departments are being established in the seven tribal districts to facilitate the masses.
The House will now meet on Monday at 02 pm.
