Islamabad: Federal Minister for State and Frontier Regions, Engineer Shaukatullah has assured his full support for the resolution of FATA Minorities problems and said that this is the policy of present Government to provide full protection to them. He expressed these feeling in a meeting here at his office in Islamabad with a delegation of all FATA Social Welfare Minorities Organization. The delegation was headed by its president Mr. Wilson Wazir.
Mr. Wilson Wazir briefed the Federal Minister about various problems faced by the minority members residing in tribal areas. He said that Minorities are living in FATA for the last two hundred years but still they are not dealt at par with other residents of tribal areas. Even they are deprived to be domiciled in FATA. The issues related to non availability of funds for graveyard, job quota and lack of sports infrastructure were also discussed with details.
The federal minister thanked the delegation for visiting his office. He further said that he gives immense importance to the matter that effect Minorities all over Pakistan while FATA Minorities fully deserve his special concern. Therefore every step will be taken to provide protection and facilitation to minority brethren.
