Islamabad: Federal Minister for States and Frontier Region, Engr. Shaukatullah, while addressing the official of Afghan Commissionerate Peshawar and Afghan elders in Peshawar has directed the concerned authorities to address the Afghan Refugees issues on priority. He further stated that hurdle in POR card to be removed in order to give maximum facilities to refugees while their stay in Pakistan till December, 2012.
While giving instructions to the official of Afghan Commissionerate Peshawar, the Minister mentioned that separate cell to be operated in the Commissionerate for facilitation of refugees. He further stated that facilities like opening of bank account, obtaining of driving licence and last but not least basic facilities in the camps to be provided.
The elders of Afghan refugees thanked the Minister for SAFRON for giving time to hear their long-standing problems. They further appreciated the kind gesture of the Minister for resolving their problems.
