Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtoonkhaw Minister for Information and Public Relations, Mian Iftikhar Hussain while terming Amir Haider Khan Hoti as education-friendly-Chief Minister has whole heartedly thanked him for approving the campus of Khan Abdul Wali Khan University at Tehsil Pabbi District Nowshera. He added that the people of Nowshera especially tehsil Pabbi would never forget his that favour.
This he said while talking to the land owner of proposed site of the said university campus at Peshawar the other day. DCO Nowshera Ayaz Khan Mando Khel was also present on this occasion. Owner of the land on this occasion informed the minister of their grievances in detail.
Mian Iftikhar maintained that university campus at Pabbi was a special blessing of Allah Almighty and we should not deny this blessing. He said that new generation was our precious asset therefore we should not hesitate to offer any sacrifice for their bright and successful future.
The Minister Information asserted, indeed, someone would definitely be affected by the university campus but we should take it into consideration the larger interest of the area. He furthered that establishment of campus in Pabbi tehsil was his cherished dream which was fulfilled by the Chief Minister. He hoped that the said campus would prove a landmark for the progress and prosperity of the area.
The minister continued, it was his utmost desire that minimum people should affected due to the said campus. He however clarified that the university campus was being established with good intensions and in the supreme interest of the area.
Mian Iftikhar on identification and demand of the land owner directed the DCO Nowshera to look into the said site identified by the owner and if it was suitable for a campus send its feasibility report at the earliest for further necessary action. He declared that the said campus would be established at Tehsil Pabbi only as per directives of the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtoonkhaw.
Land owner on this occasion said that they were not denying the importance of the university campus but their grievances in this regard should be taken into consideration, for which, the minister assured his all out cooperation and support.
