Islamabad, November 24, 2014 (PPI-OT): Mr. Jam Kamal Khan, Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Resources who is on visit to Turkmenistan, called on the President of the Turkmenistan, H.E. Mr. Gurbanguly Berdimuhammedov on November 18, 2014. He conveyed warm greetings and regards from the Prime Minister of Pakistan to Turkmen President and discussed entire spectrum of bilateral relations.
The two sides reaffirmed their commitment for strengthening the bilateral relations in different fields, including commerce and trade, energy, infrastructure and industry. They stressed the need for timely implementation of the TAPI gas pipeline project which is considered as flagship project for the economic development and stability in the region.
The President of Turkmenistan reiterated through Mr. Jam Kamal Khan his invitation to the Prime Minister of Pakistan for visit to Turkmenistan in the near future.
