Islamabad, November 20, 2014 (PPI-OT): Taking serious notice of the media reports about selling of Prime Minister’s Scheme energy savers in open market which were provided to K-Electric for distribution among consumers in an energy conservation drive, the Secretary Ministry of Water and Power, Muhammad Younus Dagha has issued direction to seek an immediate report from the Company.
The Ministry has asked the K-E to submit a detailed report with complete data explaining the actual position.
These energy savers were provided by ADB to the Government of Pakistan for their distribution among the consumers to promote energy conservation in the country.
