Srinagar, November 04, 2014 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Veteran Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Gilani, Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Muhammad Yasin Malik and Hurriyet Conference Jammu and Kashmir have called for a complete shutdown on Wednesday, Nov 5, to protest against the killing of two civilians by Indian troops.
Mirwaiz while talking to media said that the killing of two innocent youths by Indian troops is unfortunate and inhuman act.
The APHC Chairman said that India had turned Kashmir into a military garrison where human rights violations were taking place every now and then. He also demanded an independent probe.
Strongly condemning the killing of two youths of Nowgam by Indian troops Syed Ali Geelani has also called for a complete shutdown tomorrow. On his return from New Delhi, as soon as he landed at Srinagar Airport, Indian police brought him home in custody and kept him under house arrest at his Hyderpora residence.
Puppet authorities have also placed Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, under house arrest at his residence to prevent him from addressing Aashura procession in Srinagar.
