Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal says China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is the top priority of the government and ML-1 railway project is the flagship initiative of the corridor.
Talking to Chinese Ambassador Nong Rong in Islamabad the Minister emphasized on early nomination of companies by China for the ML-1 project.
He said the government is paying special attention towards construction of tourism infrastructure at Gwadar Port.
The Minister said work on transmission line to supply electricity to Gwadar is in full swing.
They agreed to promote business-to-business cooperation between China and Pakistan.
