MNAs, PTI leaders call on PM in Islamabad

Adviser on Commerce and Investment Abdul Razak Dawood, Special Assistant on Political Affairs Amir Dogar and MNAs Asim Nazir, Raza Nasrullah Ghumman, Khurram Shahzad and industrialist Shahid Nazir called on Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad on Thursday.

Overall political situation of the country, relief for people in the budget and the measures for promotion of industry were discussed in the meeting.

Asim Nazir briefed the Prime Minister on textile sector, particularly growth in the textile sector as a result of the steps taken by the present government. He also presented suggestions to the Prime Minister for solution to the issues for further promotion of the sector.

Parliamentary Secretary for National Health Services Dr. Nausheen Hamid also called on Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad on Thursday.

Political situation of the country and budget were discussed in the meeting.

The amount allocated for development of health sector in the budget and the common man’s access to health facilities also figured in the meeting.

Meanwhile, MNAs belonging to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Saleemur Rehman, Saleh Muhammad, Mujahid Ali, Noor Alam Khan, Malik Fakkhar Zaman, Malik Anwar Taj, Sher Akbar Khan and Gul Dad Khan also called on the Prime Minister.

Besides problems and ongoing development projects in the respective constituencies, promotion of tourism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, special attention on promotion of education and health in the budget, and projects of environment and climate change were also discussed.

Members of National Assembly from South Punjab called on Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad today.

These members include Muhammad Amjad Farooq Khosa, Niaz Ahmad Jhakkar, Shabbir Qureshi and Rana Qasim Noon.

Problems in their constituencies and progress on ongoing projects were discussed during the meeting.

They appreciated the Prime Minister role in providing health cards under the vision to focus on South Punjab, projects of health education and infrastructure in Layyah, establishment of South Punjab Secretariat and relief to the common men in the budget.

MQM MNAs call on PM in Islamabad

Prime Minister Imran Khan says early completion of ongoing federal development projects in Karachi and timely commencement of announced projects is one of the top priorities of the government.

Talking to the Members of National Assembly from Muttahida Qaumi Movement, who called on him in Islamabad today, he said the government is taking bold steps to solve the problems of the people of Karachi.

The Prime Minister said federal government is ensuring timely disbursement of funds as per NFC award and fair distribution of provincial funds by the Sindh government is also essential in this regard.

During the meeting, Imran Khan was apprised of the progress on development projects in Karachi.

Minister for Planning Asad Umar, Member National Assembly Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and Senator Faisal Sabzawari were also present during the meeting.
