Modi regime has waged war against Kashmiris to suppress their freedom struggle: APHC

In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, APHC has deplored that RSS-backed Narendra Modi-led fascist Indian government has waged a full-fledged war against the people to suppress their just struggle for securing their internationally-recognized right to self-determination.

In a statement issued in Srinagar, Senior leader of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Ghulam Ahmed Gulzar, said that besides over one million troops, India is using its administration, parliament, probe bodies, intelligence agencies and biased judiciary to intimidate Kashmiris into submission.

He said Indian troops are committing heinous crimes like killings, brutal torture, burning of properties, random arrest and molestation of women to punish Kashmiris for demanding their right to self-determination.

Ghulam Ahmed Gulzar said Kashmiri diaspora and Pakistan must expedite their efforts to apprise the world about emerging threat of Hindutva terrorism.

Meanwhile, APHC-AJK chapter leaders, Imtiaz Wani and Muhammad Sultan Butt, in their statements in Islamabad appealed to international community to play its role in resolving the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the Kashmiris’ aspirations and relevant UN resolutions for ensuring permanent peace in the region.
