The Federal Department of Science and Information Technology and Department of Science and Information Technology Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have decided to start Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa schools.
A decision to this effect was taken in a high-level online meeting chaired by Federal Minister for S&IT Fawad Chaudhry and KP Adviser on S&IT Ziaullah Bangash.
The meeting discussed Science, measures to start STEM at KP Schools, setting up of Fabrics Labs, Science Club and other science and technology projects.
The meeting decided to immediately start STEM education initially in 10 schools of the province.
Education Minister Shahram Khan Tarakai said that this would be a revolutionary program that would provide opportunities for high level education to the talented students.
