Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb has refuted a news story published in the daily Dawn regarding protest by locals during Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s visit to Sukkur, as false and baseless.
In a statement, the Information Minister said no protest was held during the Prime Minister’s visit to Sukkur.
She said during all the visits to flood hit areas, the Prime Minister in collaboration with provincial governments, ensured supply of food, medicines and relief goods to the victims.
