Chief Executive Officer Punjab Health Initiative Management Company Dr Ali Razzaq says so far more than 2.9 million people in Punjab have received free treatment through Sehat Sahulat card at a cost of 65 billion rupees.
In an exclusive interview with Radio Pakistan’s Lahore Correspondent Sajjad Parvez during News and Current Affairs Program Lahore Insight on Monday, he said the statistics show that under the program more than 650,000 people have undergone free dialysis, over 350,000 have got the facility of caesarean operation and 225,000 people have undergone free eye surgery.
Dr Ali Razzaq said over 350 million people in Punjab who are registered with NADRA can avail free treatment facilities at public sector and private hospitals free of cost.
He appealed to the citizens to register their marriages and new born children with NADRA to receive free treatment without any hurdle.
