Karachi: Advisor to Chief Minister Sindh on Media Sharmila Faruqui has said that 18th, 19th and 20th amendments in constitution, consensus on NFC Award, Empowerment of Women, unopposed success in Senate Elections for Chairman and Deputy Chairman are some of the success of the present democratic government.
This she said while talking to a delegation of Pakistan People’s Party Toronto here in Toronto. Delegation was consisted of PPP Toronto President Daniel Ibrahim, Secretary Information Shehzada Benazir and Vice President Saad Raj.
The office bearers of PPP Toronto expressed their confidence over the leadership of Asif Ali Zardari, President of Pakistan and Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani Prime Minister of Pakistan and said that it was a matter of pleasure that overseas Pakistani had got vote power and they would be able to cast their votes in next general elections. On this occasion Ms. Sharmila Faruqui told the office bearers of PPP Toronto about on-going development projects of present democratic government.
She added ‘Present democratic government has successfully completed four years and would continue to serve the people in future as well’.
