Pakistan, Belarus agree to work together for disaster management

Pakistan and Belarus have agreed to work together for disaster management, mitigation and emergency response.

The understanding was reached during a meeting of a three-member delegation of Belarus led by the country’s Deputy Minister for Emergency Situation, Major General Bolotov Igor with Chairman National Disaster Management Authority Lt Gen Inam Haider Malik in Islamabad on Thursday.

The Belarusian delegation assured full support of their country in the field of disaster management.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chairman NDMA informed the visiting delegation about transformation of disaster management approach in Pakistan.
