Pakistan Railways has launched a public safety campaign to create awareness among masses regarding crossing of manned and unmanned level crossings to save precious lives.
According to the main points of this campaign, people should only cross the railway track from a place designated for this purpose.
It said people should demonstrate utmost responsibility and make sure that no train is coming in their way before passing the unmanned level crossings.
It said that people should refrain from trespassing the partially opened gate of the railway crossing. If a motor vehicle breaks down in middle of the level crossing then un-board all the passengers, promptly clear the railway crossing and apprise operator of Railways signals and follow his directions.
