Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed grief over the sad demise of Senior Journalist Farrukh Saeed.
In a statement on Sunday, he paid tribute to the late journalist for pursuing an ideological and principled journalism.
He said Farrukh Saeed was popular among journalists across the country especially Punjab province.
The Prime Minister said his services for journalism and rights of journalists will always be remembered.
Meanwhile, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb while expressing deep grief over the death of Farrukh Saeed paid rich tribute to him.
She said the late journalist remained active for the rights of journalists of Punjab and the whole country.
The Minister prayed for the departed soul and commiserated with the bereaved family.
